This interchange was constructed as a non-grade interchange on the main Tehran-Mashhad railway line in 2012 to eliminate the Jovein interchange. The operation involved the construction of a bridge - armed walls of approximately 400 meters on both sides of the structure and pavement of the route, which was completed in 23 months.
